He obtained his Lawyer's degree at the university "Universidad Católica Santiago de Guayaquil, Suma Cum Laude 1988, "Hector Romero Menéndez" award to the best student of his graduating class. Participated in the Program of Instruction of Lawyers (PIL), Harvard Law School, 2001. Doctor in Jurisprudence by the university "Universidad Católica Santiago de Guayaquil". Masters Program in Tax Law by the university "Universidad Católica Santiago de Guayaquil" 2008-2010. Partner-Vice-president and Director of the Corporate Area of the firm. He is President, founder and Honorary President of the Ecuadorian Franchise Association (Asociacion Ecuatoriana de Franquicias AEFRAN); Professor of Competition Law and Consumer Law in the School of Law of UEES; Professor of Legal Business Environment for the Business Management Masters Program of the School of Postgraduate studies at UEES, Economic Constitutional Law Professor in the Major of Constitutional Law of the School of Postgraduate studies at UEES; head of many legal advising teams in charge of drafting laws of corporate interest. He also offers conferences on legal safety, franchises, investment, economic law, competition law and consumer defense. He is member of the National Power Board representing productive sectors, Director of the Research Center of Competition and Consumer Satisfaction of the university "Universidad Espiritu Santo de Guayaquil UEES" and member of many private societies.

He was an officer of the Superintendence of Companies of Ecuador, Executive Secretary of the Chamber of Commerce of Guayaquil, and the National Federation of Chambers of Commerce of Ecuador, the IberoAmerican Association of Chambers of Commerce and the Confederation of Chambers of Commerce of the Andean Group.

Member of the Council of the School of Law and Social and Political Sciences of the university “Universidad Católica Santiago de Guayaquil”, member of the legal committee of the Chamber of Commerce of Guayaquil; Legal Advisor of the Board of the Central Bank of Ecuador and President of the Franchise Area of the Andean federation of lawyers.
